Kikuubo Afro was born from a simple but powerful idea — that the African community living in the UAE deserves access to the authentic tastes of home. Founded and based in Abu Dhabi, we set out to bridge the gap between Africa's rich food culture and the daily lives of Africans living across the Emirates.
 

The name "Kikuubo" is inspired by the famous Kikuubo Trading Centre in Kampala, Uganda — the heartbeat of East African commerce, where fresh produce, spices, and essentials flow freely. We brought that same spirit of abundance and community to the UAE.
 

What started as a passion for East African food has grown into a celebration of the entire African continent. Today we proudly stock products from both East and West Africa — from Ugandan Matooke and Maganjo maize flour to West African Garri, Ghanaian Yams, and Palm Oil — all delivered across the UAE.
